Pain Club Amsterdam is a small, informal endurance sport club. We keep this short: we collect as little as possible and never sell or share it for marketing.
Who we are

What we collect
Only what you type into the join form: your name and email address, and if you choose to fill them in, your phone number, city, experience level, strongest disciplines, Instagram and Strava handles and your message.
We don't collect anything else about you when you visit the site.
Why we use it
To get back to you about joining the club and to keep in touch about training and events if you join. We use it because you asked us to; you can withdraw at any time by emailing us, and we'll delete your details.
Who can see it
Only the club organisers. Your sign-up is stored in a database and emailed to our club inbox by the service providers that host this website (Lovable, with the database run on Supabase). They process it only on our behalf. We don't share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
If you don't join, we delete your sign-up within 12 months. If you do join, we keep your details while you're a member and delete them when you leave.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them, by emailing contact@painclub.nl. We'll reply within a month. If you're not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Cookies
This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, so there's nothing to accept.
The only thing we store is your language choice (EN or NL), saved in your own browser so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device and you can clear it in your browser settings.
Fonts and photos are served from this website itself, not from third parties. The Strava and Instagram links take you to those sites, where their own privacy policies apply.
